Notes:
Pier Solar and the Great Architects is a JRPG
that was released in 2010.
From what I can see in videos, the game looks
really great. And it features CD-quality music
for all people with a Sega MegaCD addon.

About the music: I've ever liked JRPG
soundtracks, and this one is no exception.
It is very good - the FM music has its own
charm, so there are some tracks of which I
prefer the FM version over the CD one.

The sound driver is one of the few ones that
supports 2 channel mixing for the DAC.
Add that to the fact that it plays high-quality
22 KHz samples and you get one, if not the most
impressing MegaDrive soundtrack ever.

Additionally some tracks have randomized
panning effects, which is a cool feature, but
impossible to properly reproduce in VGMs.

Many thanks goes to Tulio Adriano for providing
the Pier Solar Music Player ROM and so making
this VGM pack possible.

There are per-track release dates which I got
from the ROM. However at some point they
changed from MM-DD-YYYY to DD-MM-YYYY, so the
dates in the VGMs are also inconsistent.

This is the biggest VGM pack I've ever done -
it runs for almost two and a half hour with the
usual loop settings.

And I did it all on one day: ripping, trimming,
tagging of 60 tracks.
(I'll never do that again!)

First I used MESS 0.144 VGM mod (its first rip,
btw) and I ripped ALL songs in one run.
Finally I got a 477.3 MB large VGM that runs
for 3 h 13 min and 51 sec. (Large, isn't it?)
I used vgm_sptd then to split get one vgm per
track. - easy so far

Thanks goes to the VGM Loop Finder, which made
me able to trim some of the tracks in 2-5 min.
(With completely manual trimming This would've
been impossible to do in one day.)
Though I had to modify it a little, because
some of the tracks use completely randomized
panning effects.
But still, trimming took me another 4 hours.

Tagging was a piece of cake - I simply wrote a
small script that uses the track list I made
earlier to tag them completely automatically.

So now, enjoy the great soundtrack!
